Peanut Butter Bars
1/2 Cup - Karo Light Corn Syrup
1/2 Cup - Splenda Sugar Blend (or 1 Cup Sugar)
1 Cup - Chunky Peanut Butter (chunky for texture)
1/2 Cup - Whole Rolled Oats (not quick)
3 Cup - Corn Flakes
Heat Karo syrup and Splenda/sugar on medium heat stirring constantly until Splenda/sugar is dissolved. Thoroughly mix in Peanut Butter. Remove from heat and fold in Rolled Oats and Corn Flakes. Flatten onto a cookie sheet, cut into bars and allow to cool.
Note: I usually add the corn flakes and oatmeal by eye until I get the consistency I'm looking for.
Variation: Use creamy peanut butter, no rolled oats and 4 cups corn flakes and roll into balls
