[Memo]
All in all, this was a pretty cool dive. Hospital Hole is a 15ft sink hole down river from Weeki Wachee spring. Vis was about 10ft entering the hole then opened up to about 30ft once we were about 30ft deep. At 70ft we hit the hydrogen sulfide layer. It looked like we were sky diving into a cloud layer. Really cool! Billy didn't feel comfortable about going deeper so we stopped. First rule of diving, if anyone's not completely comfortable, everyone stops (well ok, maybe second, after "breath"). We explored the wall of the room and looked into little salt water pockets. Billy started feeling comfortable later so we dropped about 5ft into the hydrogen sulfide layer. It was pretty neat, but since we were only diving with 80 cu ft tanks and had already been down about 15 minutes, we didn't go any further.

After it was all over, we decided that we're going to come back next time with more air and go down deeper!

There's an ariel view of the hole at: http://www.mejeme.com/dive/hospital.htm and a drawing of the internals at: http://www.floridacaves.com/hhole.htm
