This was the first dive of my trimix course. Scott was out due to the failure yesterday. Billy and I followed John in. I ran the reel. Went to drop my O2 bottle and accidentally dropped my stage. Picked it back up and dropped my O2. Followed John down in. John got to about 120ft and turned the dive. I noticed the red light on his rebreather and quickly turned around. He came up a little then called Billy and I back in. We headed down again, got to the same point and John called the dive. On the way out we simulated deco stops as if we had made it to 170ft. When we got to 40ft (in the cavern area), we deployed our lift bags. Mine came off the clip and floated freely to the surface. I waited for it to come down and tried it again. This time I clipped it well but as the reel started to spin, the line tangled and started to pull me up. I deflated my wing but counldn't stay down so I let it go. Obviously, I wasn't too happy with my performance on this dive.
