[Memo]
We decided to leave Madison and head for another cave. Billy wanted long dives this weekend. I thought the Grand Traverse would be fun. I hadn't done that since I was backmount with Joe. The problem was, I was on 108's last time, but only had 85's this time. Not to mention that they weren't the standard 3800 cave fills. I only had 3000PSI. I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be enough. We made it well past Challenge Sink before I hit thirds so I knew I should be able to make it. Billy was moving quite slowly so I was kind of second guessing myself. We hit the jump to the Peanut line. I questioned whether it was the right jump or not until we hit the Peanut Restriction and things started looking familiar. We got to about the 1200ft marker and Billy signalled me to come over. He had forgotten to hook up his ADV line (doh!) and wanted me close while he switched over. He got things straightened out and we continued the dive. I still had plenty of gas left. Wasn't so bad afterall! Turned out to be a great dive!
