[Memo]
This was the first of Derek and Christy's final checkout dives. We took a while to equalize and get to the bottom. We followed the wall around to the hole. Derek signaled that he was at 1600 PSI. We started to turn the dive. I signaled to the dive master that I was going to swim through the hole. I got through, came up over the reef and saw that Christy had started to follow me. The dive master was headed toward Christy to stop her. We slowly headed back toward the boat, checking out the fish along the way. We got to the descent line and had a nice, slow, controlled ascent with a safety stop.
