[Memo]
This was their final checkout dive. Mitch offered to stay back with Chris if he had problems with his ears again. I explained to Chris that he needs to equalize early and often, even if he doesn't feel he needs it. Chris took this advise and was able to drop straight to 100ft without issue! This time everyone did much better with their buoyancy, until we got to the bottom. Everyone started sitting and standing in the silt and goofing off. It was funny and the cavern is open enough that I was not worried about losing visibility. After goofing off we followed the rope the rest of the way around and worked our way to the air bell. We swam around, goofed off more and took pictures. As Jason hit 1,000 PSI again, we worked our way back to the platform. I showed them the knot in the ascent line at 15ft and we practiced a safety stop without holding onto anything. They all did very well! After our three minutes, we completed our ascent. This was a great dive and everyone had a real good time!!
