Right up the river from Dead Coon is another little hole that Bill discovered years ago when he was boating with his wife, whose feet were hanging over the edge of the boat and noticed that the water suddenly got cold. Billy and Joe had marked it with some pink cave line. We tied off the canoe and starting searching for the entrance. The pink line was a little off. After searching for about 10 - 15 minutes, Billy found the entrance. We headed in.

A little way in, the line went through a hole in the ground and dropped down a shaft about 30 feet. I tied our primary reel to the main line and pointed out to Billy that it looked like that was the end. There was a little hole next to me. Billy came down and looked in the hole and left. I wasn't sure what he was doing, so I waited for him to come back, thinking he was looking for where the line continued. When he didn't come back, I looked around a little more, then started back up the shaft. As I got out of the shaft, Billy was there waiting. We worked our way the rest of the way out of the cave. Billy told me that it didn't go anywhere.

Nice dive none the less. Short, but nice. :-)
