[Memo]
These were Jason's final checkout dives. Jason was very comfortable in the water last dive. I told him that it was his turn to plan and lead the dives. The plan was to drop to the platform, get our buoyancy, then head down the main line, into the larger part of the cavern. We did just that! I also wanted to work on communication skills. Jason really seemed to be getting into the dive. He was all over the place. :-) I signaled to him that it was time to turn and started slowly working my way back up. I turned around and he was on the other side of the cavern. I swam over to him and after an out of air drill, I told him to stay close.

We stayed along the bottom of the cavern, leaving the top for the second dive. Back at the platform, we took an extended safety stop, doing mask skills and playing with buoyancy.
