The dive plan was to take our time, enjoy our dive and take lots of pictures along the way. I wanted to hit the Godzilla Room at some point. I asked Billy if he remembered how to get there. He said he wasn't sure. I was hoping he did because it had been a long time since I had been there and really wanted to see it again.

The park ranger came by to chat while we were gearing up. He was very nice! He asked us where we were headed (in the cave). We told him, probably just back to the Godzilla Room. He chuckled and replied, "Ah, just taking the tourist route this time.". We all laughed.

Billy had me run the reel and lead the dive. I was carrying one of his slave strobes. As he started taking pictures, he signaled me to deploy the strobe. As I reached for it, he cancelled, came over, switched it on, positioned it, but left it attached to my back D-ring. Since we've done this before, I knew the drill. I looked for potentially cool shots, positioned myself, and waited for him to snap a couple of shots.

We got to a jump that I thought was the Godzilla Room circuit. I stopped an pointed it out to Billy. He signaled me to take it. We went up through the Banana Room and dropped into the Monkey Room. The entrance to the Monkey Room is a hole in the floor, much like the entrance to the Godzilla Room. I believe last time we attempted to go to the Godzilla Room this is as far as we made it, mistaking this passage for our goal destination. As we made it through the passage on the far side of the Monkey Room, I spotted another jump. I recognized it as being the loop to the Godzilla Room. I pointed it out to Billy and signaled that this line continues through the Godzilla Room and loops back to here.

We continued up the passage and sure enough, there was the hole in the floor that dropped into the Godzilla Room! It wasn't as big as I remembered it, but it was still a big room! Billy dropped in and prepared to take some photos. He signaled me with his light when he was ready and I dropped in. We took some photos, then started working our way back. We had another dive planned and no additional tanks, so I wanted to make sure I finished this dive with gas to spare.

As we worked our way out, we continued taking photos. I found a line that went into a very small (no mount) hole. Billy took a picture of me pointing it out to him. :-) He took pictures if me reeling out, then had me come back in through the Rabbit Hole for a few more pics.

We exited the water with plenty of gas for another dive. We saw no other divers the entire time we were there! Visibility was great! This turned out to be an awesome dive!!
