We surfaced from the last dive. Desiree was done. I looked across the parking lot and saw what looked to be a sewage processing plant and said, "Let's go there!". We got out and walked over. We entered down the stairs into the pool. Desiree stayed on the stairs as Todd and I worked our way in. The water was very warm!

This site was a cement shaft that supposedly dropped to about 65ft. The viz was slightly better than the other ponds. We dropped down and found some lattice platforms at 22ft. There were four of them along the four sides of the cylindrical shaft. We worked our way across the first one then dropped down the shaft a little deeper, in-between platforms. With the bad viz, it got pretty dark and spooky pretty quick. Since I didn't have a light and didn't want to spook Todd, we worked our way back up to the next platform and continued around the shaft.

Once we had made it all the way around, we decided that we had seen enough. We surfaced, then hung out, floated around and talked for a while. As we got out and walked back to the shop, there was a strong breeze. Boy that felt cold after being in the warm water!

With viz as bad as it was, this wasn't the best dive site, but we had a good time. The dive crew at the shop made this a really nice experience! After we got out, we dunked our gear in the fresh water tanks and turned it in. We then hit the bath house for some fresh water showers. We were pleasantly surprised when we felt the nice, warm (almost hot) water.

To top this experience off, I opened my towel and forgot that I had Desiree's iPhone in it. The phone had a protective case, but it landed just right and shattered the display. :-( Another 100 bucks on the credit card for this trip! :-/
